Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has taken an important decision in the context of Ganesh Chartu festival which is being celebrated by the people in the state with faith and joy. The restrictions on the height of the Ganesha idol to be installed during the upcoming Ganeshotsav are far away. In view of the status of Kovid-19 in the Ganeshotsav of 2021, the height of the idol was limited in the installation of Ganesha in such public places and private houses.

There was a limit of 4 feet in height for installation of Ganesha in public places and 2 feet in height for installation of Ganesha idols in the house. According to Kovid guidelines, there is no control at present.

Now du ring the upcoming festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, there will be no restrictions regarding the height of Ganesh idols to be installed in public places or at home. The implementation of the guidelines implemented by the Central Pollution Control Board regarding the construction of Ganesha statue and its dismantling has been maintained.
